If you can make ‘creation’ as natural as breathing, it is not because intention is absent; it is because all intention has already dissolved into the breath.

LIFE NOTE

Sun-Man

Homem-Sol (Sun-Man), created by Portuguese sculptor Jorge Vieira for the 1998 Lisbon World Exposition (Expo ’98). The work seeks to establish a connection between humanity and the sun: one cannot exist apart from the other. A legacy of public art left behind by that year’s Expo.

On the left is the Expo venue where Web Summit is held every November. Last year, “Xiaoxiong” stepped inside for the first time. It was also the first time in his life that he had experienced, at close range, the remarkable talks given by the big names of Silicon Valley.

This year’s “summit” is almost here again.

Light arises twice: Li. The great person continues the light to illuminate the four directions. — Zhou Yi · Li, Image

Li’s continuing light calls for work that connects. A conference offers new perspectives; inspiration needs understanding, trial and revision to reach concrete problems.

The sun figure and clouds coexist. Admitting what remains unclear helps form the next question; enthusiasm gains substance through actions that test it.

Reading in briefAfter inspiration, bring light to a concrete question.

of notes

Hello, I’m Wang Sanxiong — Sam 🤝

The book’s epigraph is my motto, and the starting point for how I understand life, restaurants, and entrepreneurship.

I am a Chinese immigrant living in Portugal, originally from Qingtian, Zhejiang, and a restaurant owner. I love architecture and the history behind it; I love the I Ching, and use Eastern wisdom to interpret the stories hidden behind history.

A battle for small and medium-sized restaurants to reclaim their own customer channels;
The second half of life should be more exciting than the first — that is only reasonable;

【XIAOXIONG®】

XIAOXIONG®; it is not an advertisement in this book. It is proof that, in the second half of life, I am still willing to change.
