If you can make ‘creation’ as natural as breathing, it is not because intention is absent; it is because all intention has already dissolved into the breath.

Section XII — XIAOXIONG®

After turning fifty, I registered a new company and marked a new starting point for the second half of life.

XIAOXIONG grew from lessons gathered across restaurants, takeaway platforms, customers, and the immigrant experience. The aim was not to decorate the old business with technology, but to rebuild the relationship between restaurants and the people they serve.

The office began with two people and slowly became a young team. It is still an unfinished practice, not an answer. What matters is the willingness to change again after experience has made change feel more difficult.

Transformation

Heaven and earth change, and the four seasons take shape. — Zhou Yi · Ge, Commentary on the Judgment

Ge asks what sustains change. Company, team and launch turn intention into action; shop registrations offer signs of use without yet establishing a lasting market.

“Insufficient ability” takes responsibility and may protect the original idea too early. Demand, delivery model and ability all deserve examination; revisiting the initial assumption opens possibilities.

Reading in briefChange the practice, and allow the original judgement to change.

Hello, I’m Wang Sanxiong — Sam 🤝

The book’s epigraph is my motto, and the starting point for how I understand life, restaurants, and entrepreneurship.

I am a Chinese immigrant living in Portugal, originally from Qingtian, Zhejiang, and a restaurant owner. I love architecture and the history behind it; I love the I Ching, and use Eastern wisdom to interpret the stories hidden behind history.

A battle for small and medium-sized restaurants to reclaim their own customer channels;
The second half of life should be more exciting than the first — that is only reasonable;

【XIAOXIONG®】

XIAOXIONG®; it is not an advertisement in this book. It is proof that, in the second half of life, I am still willing to change.
